There are quite a few hi fi producers that have been in business since the dawn of hi fi. JAS Audio is not one of them.

The independent Hong Kong based company was established around 2003, and since then they have been designing and manufacturing most kinds of hi fi products. You will find the JAS logo on everything from tube amplifiers, hi fi furniture, DAC, CD players, cables, and speakers.

JAS Audio have an unusual development program. Most of the time you would find small independent Hi-Fi companies are the vision of one or two enthusiasts with a set mind on how their designs should sound. Not with JAS Audio. The Hong Kong Chinese behind JAS set down a development team for each category.  That means, one team for speakers, and one team for amplifiers  etc. Not until all on each team are satisfied will a product is it deployed to dealers.

It doesn’t take much industry insight to understand this is not the "modern" way of doing things and that there are more cost efficient ways to develop products however JAS Audio wouldn't have it any other way.
